Guernsey Careers Show 2010

The Guernsey Bar is participating in the Careers Show 2010 at Beau Sejour. The Show has over 90 businesses and organisations attending and is of particular interest to people seeking employment, a change of career, those returning to the island as well as undergraduates and school leavers. Representatives from the Bar will be present at the Show to offer guidance to those interested in pursuing a career in law.


Rencontre 2009

There will be a rencontre de droit normand in Guernsey on 6 November 2009, marking the 750th anniversary of the Treaty of Paris. Participants will speak on a variety of topics in keeping with the history of semaines and rencontres of the University of Caen. Further details are available below.

Guernsey Bar Summer Party

The Guernsey Bar Summer Cocktail Party will take place on Tuesday 9 June 2009 at the Fermain Valley Hotel.


Liberation Day Service
Date: 27/04/2009

The Royal Court procession will depart from the Royal Court Building at 9:45am on Saturday 9 May 2009. The traditional Church Service will take place at St. James Concert and Assembly Hall this year, as the Town Church is closed for refurbishment. The Service will begin at 11:00am.
