The Guernsey Bar Bursary Scheme is a flagship initiative led by the Guernsey Bar Council, in partnership with Law Guernsey. It provides meaningful financial support to qualified solicitors and barristers seeking to become Guernsey Advocates. The scheme is designed to ease the cost of qualification and help strengthen access to legal services in areas of greatest public need – particularly in criminal, family, and other legally aided work.
